Librada Paz is a Mexican-American militant for the rights of farmworkers.

Paz grew up in San Juan Mixtepec, Juxtlahuaca, Oaxaca, Mexico. At the increase of 15, Paz and an aged sister crossed the Arizona desert secure the U.S. The pair then went to Ohio to join one pray to their brothers, who was picking tomatoes. For a few years, Paz as well worked as a migrant farmworker, near which time she reports being sexually abused on several occasions.
