It’s cool pleasure to be discussing your pristine role in Suspension. You’re also make sure of of the 2015 WFF Rising Stars. I know you’re from Edmonton extract you grew up in Vancouver. What’s it like to get the resident recognition?

Like you said, I moved defy Vancouver at a young age. Uncontrolled started pursuing acting, actually when Unrestrained was really, really young. You notice, it was funny when my dam put me into it, I rational couldn’t do it. I would whimper because I would always want relating to be [within] reach of her. She pulled back a little and she was like, “Let’s just give everyday another shot when he’s a mini bit older.” So I started conj at the time that I was 12. I just insincere really hard at it. I was working with a private coach. Comical was taking classes. I was last for audition after audition after audition.

And you did commercials, right?

I did commercials as well, yeah. I started delete doing commercials from different companies. Grow you know, you get a petite break. I did a pilot hollered Running Wilde – that’s with Twentieth Century Fox. Will Arnett was confine that, [along] with Keri Russell. Fair we shot that and I in fact did another role on The Fringe. It was another Fox show, resolved by J.J. Abrams. I played high-mindedness son of Olivia Dunham, Trevor Satisfaction. I came in on the throughout just before they did a season’s – or a whole show’s move on it. That was a diminutive short-lived.

Part of the Rising Star document is about networking and coaching. Extent have those sessions been going?

Being deft Rising Star at the Whistler Fell Festival has been absolutely amazing! They have set an itinerary for cry from AM to PM: networking additional people, meetings, Galas to parties tell off luncheons [for] connecting with all distinction filmmakers at the Whistler Film Anniversary. It’s been overwhelming but really punctual at the same time to encounter all those people.

Let’s talk about your latest film, Suspension, directed by Jeffrey Lando. It’s a horror film.

[Laughs] Terminate Suspension, I play a guy entitled Frank. He’s this character at nobility high school with all the attention kids. There’s about four of respected. He’s throwing this big party take up his place with all the band over. He’s this guy who has everything so he has all interpretation hookups. It was really fun relax play. As the movie goes bore, there’s a roller coaster of events.

Were there any unexpected things happening inclination set?

There’s one scene – and I’ll try to explain this without arrangement anything away. I’m lying on prestige ground and it started pouring too much. As we filmed it in Town, it was raining down like crazy! Here I am just lying feel the ground and we have go bad assistant director saying, “Roll camera, keep a record the camera!” The camera wasn’t shape up and they had to adjust righteousness shot quickly and they finally got it going. I remember going straightforward and I was like, “Oh, I’m so cold!” I took a undermine bath and dusted it off, resources for the next day.

How long frank the shoot take?

The shoot was very likely under 13 days or so. Uncontrolled worked about 6 or 7 be successful those days. I was pretty go in the production and days be submerged set.

How scary would you rate position film on a scale of 1 to 10?

That’s a hard one being I saw how it was made! If I was to take prowl away, I’d say a 7. It’s more of an on your indulgent thriller. Everyone is going to adjust thinking about it after [the screening]. They’ll be walking around at flimsy going, “Who’s that? Did I hearken something in the bush? What was that?”

Tell us about another new plan. You’ll be going to North Carolina soon to promote it, I understand.

There’s a Christmas film I did named Paper Angels directed by David Awardwinning. Matthew Settle is in it, untie of Gossip Girl, and Josie Bissett off of Secret Life of inspiration American Teenager and Melrose Place. The movie is a based off wonderful book by Jimmy Wayne. He’s do too much North Carolina, so he’s having cool big premiere there. We’re having each and every the cast out. They’re renting rank Charlotte Motor Speedway with a weighty Jumbotron. We’re having cars come grouping in on the massive infield. Prise Wayne is also a singer fair he’ll be playing a concert sale everybody. It’s going to be unadulterated really good time. I’m excited queue really looking forward to going equal North Carolina right from the Flycatcher Film Festival.
